  • fitting pioneer double din

    basically guys just brought a pioneer double din before i start trying to fit it whats needed to fit it into my astra do i need any other leads other than what comes with it?
    i aint bothered about the steering wheel controls just getin it working

    should be just plug and play but you will need the surround mate...

            No, that is just the front. You need the full kit with the cage etc, as the ones that come with the HU don't secure it in the DIN slot.

                  i have got a pioneer avic d3 with sat nav and everything. dont suppose you know how to bypass the handbrake wire thing on one do you? thats a well nice unit fair play i was looking at that just this one come up cheap of my mate lol

                    Mine turned up yesterday, and just waiting for the fitting kit which should be here today. I plugged it all in to make sure it works, and it's really easy to bypass the handbrake wire.

                    Simply connect the handbrake wire to the earth cable on the HU.
