Most I have witnessed on a standard system and a remap is 275BHP ..... but thats my own experience.The same car made 256BHP standard, on different rollers!!

Well, I am not surprised by the figures, lol, but my question is who tuned it. Performanc_e Torq_ue? Who are they? I am not saying they are not good BUT there are some "tuners" out there just tune cars with big increase in power but don't care about reliability, .

performance torque is where mine was done (check signature). Its in wolverhampton.

When I changed my exhaust for the remus, just seeing vauxhalls rubbish design and how restrictive it looked never mind how restrictive it is shocked me !!!! So yes 280BHP is possible on a standard system but imagine the strain on the engine trying to get rid of those exhaust gases, and as you say, the heat must be crazy. VX engines run very very hot as it is Reliablity would be a major issue here I think .

when i first mapped mine years ago it went straight on without an exhaust - ran fine never an issue.
