always been my dream car as a boy and id love one now in imola red, now the stats are
    Engine: In-line 6-cyl, 3246cc, 24v
    Max power: 338bhp @ 7900rpm
    Max torque: 269lb ft @ 5000rpm
    0 - 60mph: 5.1sec
    Top speed: 155mph (limited)

does that mean my s2 has more lb ft as im 350?? sorry for my ignorance in fully understanding figures, going out with my mate in the cossie and his friend in a e46 with snitzer exhaust this week and want some bragging rights

These are very beatable by strong Vixers in a straight line, thereafter it depends on the drivers !

Its a NA engine so its torque will be much less than a turbo'd application.

A very capable car in the right hands a much more sorted chassis than a standard VXR but in a straight line it should be close

                    +1

My mates got one, and it's quite mad. Bastuk exhaust = rather loud driving experience!

Most high revving cars have low torque, like the Clio 197 = 194BHP and just 156lb/ft of torque. Civic Type R's are the same = 198BHP and just 146lb/ft of torque. You have to know how to drive these cars properly to get em to go anywhere fast imo (especially in the twisties), all have to be (basically) thrashed. Where the Astra VXR and other Turbo cars. i.e Megane RS, Focus ST etc you can change early and reply on the torque more, less strain on the engine
