Its a non servicable part mate, shouldnt need oil unless your putting a diff in it.

You may have more luck in the tuner section with this question.

Id go with what vx tell you to put in it or get them to do it to retain your warrenty.

I've got this in mine (standard gearbox)

Fuchs TITAN SINTOFLUID SAE 75W-80 synthetic manual transmission fluid

                  http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-981-fuch...ion-fluid.aspx

Gives much better gear change when cold.

Thanks for your replys i'll give that stuff a try.
Reason im changing is because gearbox is whining and likely needs to be repaired/replaced so just wondered what other people put in theres.
                    Thanks again

Wish it was just changing the oil, but been told its the bearings, and best case going to set me back around £500 - £700!
I know there's been loads of issues with gearboxes but like most people i enjoy the play every now and again but my car has quite an easy life lol

More than likely get box repaired, then use oil that's been mentioned in earlier posts.

Look on bay. Gearbox bearing kit is £290 for every thing(diff bearings, seals + more) basically a complete rebuild but if it gear bearings that are gone then they are £80 for end casing bearings.
