Pro's And Con's Of External Wastegate

What are the pro's and con's of having a external wastegate instead of an internal one?

with internal you tend to get boost creap( think thats the term), thats where the exhaust gasses try an prize open the acuator flap / waste gate open when the gauges exit the turbo..

pro- better ant controlling boost an you dont get the above s it gives you a finer boost line.

for those who are into looks...lol... it looks better.

Will you get "chatter" from external. Or is chatter only the turbo stalling?
