  • Need help, my car doesn't not start

    Hello,

Since 1 week my car doesn't start. My car is at the garage, but they are craps! 1 week, and they don't find the problem. Note that i have keyless.

    The symptoms:
    I can open/close the doors.
I can put my light on/off
    The horn is ok
    The headunit doesn't work
    The CID doesn't work
    I can't turn ignition on
    I can't start my car

Firstly, I think it was a fuse, but they said me every fuses are ok.
And after that, i think that my problem come from the keyless unit or anything like that.

I can not read error code because i can't turn on ignition

Does anybody have had this problem before? or something like that?

      Yes it lock/unlock fine.
I change the battery just to see, and used the 2nd remote and it's the same.

if your car is keyless the key fob will automatically charge when the car is started, so will never run flat, i had dsomething similar happen to me it was due to my ecu, take it vauxhall

No it's happen a morning before i decide to go on my office.
The car has been remapped a long time ago, but since a few months my car was standard.

Replacing a new ECU will cost me a lot...my god!! i cross my fingers!

No it wont , the batteries are only rated for 24 months and is part of a second service to change them

I had a similar problem, my battery had gone flat, but unlike your issue, nothing worked for me, couldnt turn on lights or anything.

                  Had to be jump started

I change the battery on both of the fogs. And nothing.

If it's my ECU, my headunit and my CID shouldn't work, isn't it?

Has the PEPS unit been tested as this controls the keyless start?

Has the actual start button been tested?

My car is on the garage, and i hope they test the start button.

And the car has been remapped by the IPF and come back to standard a few month ago.
