  • Mintex mdb 2262 vs 1444

How do these pads compare to the standard pads? There are on eBay for about £20 which seems very cheap so I am not sure if I should get them. Also how much better are mintex 1444 and standard disc the the normal set up?

I think you will find that the ones on Ebay are INCORRECT for your car, for whatever reason !

The correct reference is Mintex 1144 part no mdb2262, Courtenays sell than at approx £90 + del, Camskill slightly more........

Im just having a conversation with someone about these pads, and their fitment didnt stop brake fade recently after only a few hard miles, so IMO you may be better off having better race fluid, braided hoses and VX OE pads fitted ( supplied by MattBibs, which btw are Ferrodo as fitted at the factory, natutrally with decent discs )

Ah thanks for the heads up, how about the 1144 compared to the OE pads? Because I am stage 3 and plane to upgrade the brakes eventually but can only do the pads for now as the disc have lots of life.
