19" Astra alloys - differences

Is there any other difference in the 19" alloys other than the colour.
The pre 07 alloys appear to have softer lines than the darker 07+ alloys or is it just the paint colour that gives that illusion?

Original are silver - usual alloy appearance
Later type - darker paint with the diamond cut faces (tiny grooves like a vinyl record)

It will be the contrast that makes things look different imo

If your going to spend some cash get something different, most VXR's are rolling on 19" diamond cuts. I have the 19" BBS CH's

These are the only wheels I have ever seen that I think are genuinely better looking on the vxr than the diamond cut 19's.

Wheels are identical.

Just the colour/paint/diamond turning that's different.
