on my scorpion i alligned it to sit flush! so after a nice cruise it gets hot and expands obviously but then when it cools back down it stick out more than before, is there any thing i can do to keep the exhaust sitting flush and at the level i want it rather than having to re adjust the it by opening the clamps and so on?

Having the same issue regardless of how tight the clamps are , gonna get a spot of tig welding at the joint to stop movement.

i was thinking of having it welded but if the cat goes then its not a simple undo clam and swap over that's the only issue.

I'm not getting the joint completely seam welded just 2 or 3 spot welds which could easily be removed with a grinder (or hammer)

ive had this issue with mine, as people have said its down to the clamps. luckily scorpion isnt far from me and in the end they tig welded it so it now sits slightly recesssed when cold and flush when hot.
