  • How do you remove side skirts

    Is there a how to to remove side skirts as there's aload of paint laquer flaking off me side skirts, many thanx

    Have fun, as I believe they are bonded onto the car.

        The Boot/Roof spoiler and the side skirts are all bonded to the car, it doesn't mean you cant remove them its just it may do more harm that good. You would be better masking off the rest and spray them up in situ.

            No good doing it in situ if it's rust causing the problem you have to get it all or it will come back

              how are you planning on fixing this mate? DIY or taking it to a specialist? my driver side door mirror is completely flaking off! looks awful!

                    My laquer flaked on mine definitely re paint on the car. (You would be better masking off the rest and spray them up in situ.)

                    There an absolute nightmare to remove and even worse to re-fit!

                      The skirt is bonded to a metal sill I thought the problem would have been coming from underneath hence the question about removal if I am mistaken I must apologise
