How well would a vxr match (or at least keep up with) a mitsubishi Evo?
    any ideas?

Depends on which flavour, most Evo's are heavily modded. If it's the FQ range you are talking about then again it depends on the model. FQ400.....No Chance.

I guess it all depends on the modifications that you have!!

I read on the BMW forum that some guy got beat by a Nova, the Nova had NOS!!!

I currently only have the full miltek exhaust system (possible remap in future). and i was thinking about the FQ320.

Full BHP delivery to all four wheels - no chance no matter what model.

After the VXR my next purchase.

After the VXR my next purchase. A tribute to the VXR?

Standard VXR vs standard Evo (not including detuned 260 model) then the VXR hasn't got much of a chance. Unfair comparison really as an Evo has a fantastic 4wd system to get every ounce of power to the tarmac. VXR 0-60 low 6's, Evo FQ models around the mid 4's.
The VXR looks a million times better though, and costs loads less to run, which is why I sold my Evo FQ 300 for one.
