Best standard pads?

I hear redstuff, yellowstuff ect...But what are the ultimate standard pads for fast road driving?(no track use).

standard oe pads , my car at 265 bhp/263 lbs/ft give them pads some real testing in all condations, and held well imho

i think if you get the brake fluid changed , it helps alot

If you have good High BP fluid, brake cooling ducts and braided lines - you cant beat OE pads Dave IMO

sure I read on a thread Dannyf rated the police spec GM ones quite highly. Can only assume a slightly different compound, unsure if available for the astra but I know you can get them for the vectra.
