If this is really obvious im sorry but i didnt know until i accidently found out a month or 2 ago. If you hold the lock/unlock button down on the key after locking or unlocking the vxr you can open or close the windows with the key.

Correct. Just beware that the alarm will go off if you unlock hold the button down, which in turn opens the windows. The car should then re-lock after 30 secs of the door not being opened. But if the sensor pick up movement in the car the alarm will sound. I like the flashing of the indicator stork at night when you have turned the ignition off, where it turns the front and reversing lights on for 30 secs. Well it doe son the Veccy

A couple of other `nice touches`when you turn the ignition off .......leave the key in the ignition ......... now within 5 seconds hold the wiper stalk down till wipers start to sweep the windscreen ........then let the stalk go and you can stop the wiper blades wherever you wish ..... it makes changing the blades a little easier for our `vertically challenged members`

To set the intermittent wiper speed ........ when you turn the engine on ..... hold the wiper stalk down .......anything from 2-20 seconds .......if you hold it down for lets say 2 seconds then release it .......... when you push it up (to intermittent wipe) ...... it will wipe every 2 seconds. Lets try that again ......... this time hold down for 10 seconds then let go ......... push up to `intermittent wipe position ............ it now wipes every 10 seconds. It will reset itself back to factory setting when the ignition is switched off but you can change it as many times as you like while the engine is running.
