  • Engone colour co-ordination

I've just been on the Courtnay sport website nad saw this pic.

Does anyone know where to get that chrome bit above the manifold? if so how much?

Also was normal car paint used on top of the engine?

I did my GSI, and recently my VXR engine and actuator in red a week after I picked it up, I always use Plastikote enamel spray paint. Just remove the cam cover ( be careful not to snap the rubber gasket ) rub down with 1200 wet and dry and paint. Plastikote is quick drying but leave it for a day to be sure, I have only seen it in Halfrauds though!! BUT REMEMBER AS RAY MEARS SAYS - Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance
I will post some pictures when I learn how, because it does look good if I do say so myself.
