  • Milltek Exhaust System

Thinking about getting the system but a couple of questions:

    1) What sort of extra power do you think it makes, minus any other mods?

    2) Does it increase fuel consumption?

    3) Can I sell the old one on flea bay and would people want it?

    4) Am I right in thinking it costs £500?

    5) Any other ramifications, like increased insurance prices?

    Please assist!

I have a another question regarding modifications like that. Doesn't this void the Warranty on the car immediately? I know here in Iceland the car has 3 year warranty, and I will likely be nervous about any modifications that might void the Warranty on my car when I get it. :?

Full system will give extra power, cat back noise only really.

                  Your warranty is unchanged.

You should get an improved exhaust note. But yeah, only 1-2bhp, if any power gains.

you wont notice any inprovement in just having the cat back other than the noise.

a full system is best. nice tone and loads of popping. you should so upto 15bhp from it.

                      Mid range punch is better.

fuel consumption will increase for the start as you will be booting it every where to make it pop. but if you drive steady you will see a slight inprovment mine is doinf abour 34mpg with steady driving but boot it and only about 16mpg.

My insurance company charged me another £35 for it.
