  • New Bod on site.

    Hi all,

Just found the site. Thought I'd say hellooo.

I drive an Arden Blue VXR on 19's. I love the car, what it does, how it looks and the fact that most cars on the road are no match.

Anyway, I have had it only 5 weeks so mods are planned but as yet I am unsure as to what to do first.

    Any suggestions?

    Taff

Hi taffy without a question the first mod should be a re map.
I got mine done at The Vauxhall Performance Centre near Oxford.
The difference is astonishing for the money it costs £550 and your be putting out about 280 bhp with the sport button on and around 255 bhp with it off. A guy in a Boxster S tried it on last week when i was joining the M3 we both booted it and i started edging away.
Not bad when you think he paid £39k for a sports car.
            His face was a picture!

280 bhp is a bit on the tall side mate try 260-265 bhp stage 2 is around the 280 mark.

Are you telling me for £550 onr off payment, I get up to 280BHP? I want this if it is true - does it have to be at VPC?

Taffy, if you plan on getting the Milltek exhaust fitted, then i wouldn't waste your money on a remap because you will want it remapped again to compensate for the extra power the exhaust is able to give you.
