  • Remap friendly insurance

Can anyone suggest some mod friendly insurance companys? I hope to be going for a remap and exhaust next year after insurance renewal in feb. Just had a quote from vauxhall for £528 for a 34 year old, full ncb on a standard car, does this sound ok or am I just being tight!!!
    Cheers.

I must be a criminal or something, never had an accident or claim of any kind, it must be the post code or being single, all I know is jan and feb are very lean months with insurance alone for car and bike at over £1100. Still I have a VXR in the garage and its ace!!!

Well i reckon that your insurance will only be about 25 pence due to the fact of 365 trips to the bottom of your drive and back = 2.5 miles over the year at 10 pence per mile oh and maybe the odd trip to courtenay i reckon your well sorted

NU policy (according to them) is that they will allow modifications to the car but will NOT allow a re-map of the engine ecu, egine management system or computer. I was with NU, had gearbox, exhaust and brakes but when I tried to ensure the re-map they refused. SO beware.
