does any 1 know if you can have some of the airbags turned off in the car ? the reason being my mrs is due another baby in 9 wks so would like to be able to put a baby seat in the front and i believe it's dangerous to place these seats where there are airbags any help much appreciated cos i might have to send the baby back with the stork

Yes you can, as i believe it is a lgal requirement that you can for safety when carrying kids - not 100% sure tho, like the others said, you will have to read up on it

If the car has the transponder system - dunno?? Haven't got the book handy... you have to use a Vauxhall transponder child seat and jobs a good 'un.

I think tech2 can be used to de-activate the 2nd airbag too - not sure if your insurers will like you for it though.

                  Congrats on the baby
