  • inverting the throttle body

    just been speaking to someone at trac art and they said something about inverting the throttle body, anyone know anything abouth doing this

                      Not really, the butterfly is there for a reason. Dont ask me what it is. Somrthing to do with the cold weather or something?!

                      The 2L XE engines had them too and they were removable, virtually no gain!

                      Possibly worth doing if you were going to do it yourself, but not worth paying to have it done IMHO

                        its just under the top hat, if u remove the pipe between the top hat and the transfer pipe with the map sencer in it you can see the butterfly. its controled by the acc pedal.

                              90 degrees may show some improvement(doubtful though) as the throttle plate will be pivoted in the same direction as the airflow from the tophat.
