Ive been trying to do this for a while. I brought a couple of badges from LMF and peeled the red 'R' out with a sharpe knife. I have tried painting thr 'R' with Arden touch up paint but its very hard to do to make it look good. Most people buy the vinyl in the right colour, stick it on and then cut it out, but im having problems finding the right colour vinyl

You will need finer then a stanley knife, like a scaupel or similar, and its not too hard to do, i just didnt have the right colour vinyl. All you have to do is stick the vinyl over the are, press down (making sure no air is trapped), it will stick right into the corners and then cut.

Ive actually just found the site i ordered of before and its cheap, have alook:

Looks good - but how on earth did you get the badge to stick to the front grill???? i tried it but it just keeps falling off.

Nice motor BTW mandy, was looking a previous thread with all that you have done to it - it must have cost some though!
