There is a Slight Colour Difference, but Looks much better.

Id of taken the pheasant home and Cooked the F*cker if that had happened to my VXR

Think that's how the photo came out. On the other pics and in the normal light it blends in.

The pheasant was a lil mashed... it went under the wheels, had bits hanging off the underside aswell

No I just think it's a little lighter in color on the picture. Maybe because there is more wax on the car.

If you see the car in normal light its a perfect match. Trust me if I thought it was miles out I would be back at the site knocking on their door getting a respray.

The bumpers dont match the bodywork either and that was a VX spray.

These photos were taken with a camera phone!!

just for clarification the repair centre has one of the best reputations in the area and in the contry for private motor sport owners.

they have the contract to repair all the Cambc police vehicles.

some time last year i poped in to see then and they had an original AC Cobra in chassis number 200. car is worth about 250k and they were given the task of a re-spray.

i have also seen DB7, DB9, Continental GT, F430, AC Cobra and loads of other top end cars in there getting worked on so if you recon the paint is off i guess they aint that good and Mel should have taken it to you for repair.

The vx Paint on the bumpers is a crap match anyway, My star silver looks 3 grades darker, its the same across the ranges, i.e vectra has the same problem as well.

The paint shop have done a better job i would suspect, i.e better colour match to the body, give it a little while a few more coats of wax and it will look the same.

as long as you are happy that's what counts.

trouble is everytime i look at my bumper (front) it looks like it needs a further 2 coats of paint, my old astra Sri 99t was exactly like that so VX have had 7 years to perfect the colour match on the bumper with little success.

It just one of those things with metalic paint, if it bothers you that much wait for a few stone chips to appear then get the bumper and front spoiler done at the same time.....

I don't have any probs with the spray at all. In night and day conditions it's not noticeable at all.

Also the finish on the paint is smoother than the bumper which VX done... less ripples.

If I had an accident I would deff get them to do the body and paint work without question.

                              who ****** on your chips?
if your going to put pictures of a before and after of a repair on for people to comment on,and if it looks a bad match(like it does on the pic),people will comment.
nothing at all wrong with that,im sure vxr - xtc would agree .

alex have you actually looked at the picture?
does it look a good match?
no it does not,but obviously it must be the picture because vxr - xtc is well chuffed with it
