  • pannel or pod filter

(sorry if its been covered but couldnt find it)
i want to upgrade my filter but im not sure witch 1, i had a pod on my 1.6 astra and it sounded great.

i was told that pods are not good for turbo cars, is this true?

i would like to put a pannel on, just a bit worried it mite be a waste of money, cant see it making that much difference in the restrictive standard air box.
    please help......

        is the difference to:-
        fuel
        performance
        sound
noticeable like when you swap to a pod filter?

I used to have the standard set-up with a CS Panel Filter, I couldn't notice any difference with the Panel filter in the standard box. However I could notice a difference upgrading to the CDTI set up, with a K+N Panel filter in it. The throtle response is allot better, it also looks allot better, Percy-vxr makes the kits, and there great quality, pic:
