I have owned this astra for 3 years and it is a very reluctant sale. The car has had 2 previous owners to me the first being Vauxhall of Eastbourne and the second my older brother who purchsed the car when it was 1 year old and had done 8k miles.
It has done just over 50k miles with a full service history. It had the cambelt and waterpump replaced a year ago.
All 4 tyres have good tread and the wheels are generally in good condition with minor kurb marks to a few.
The interior is the half leather standard recaro's and they are in mint condition as is the carpet and velour mats.
The exterior of the car is in fantastic condition with no scraches or dings although it does have the usual stonechips to the bonnet and bumper which is expected of a 5 year old car thats never had any paintwork.
Its pretty much swirl free.
It has never had pets inside nor has it been smoked in.
Its a standard car with a few purposful modifications. It has been remappped to approx 215/220 bhp which also gives better fuel economy. It also has a metal powerpipe inplace of the standard rubber one which is known to colapses under full throttle. It also benefits from ebc drilled and grooved discs with green stuff pads.
All in all it has been very well looked after but unfortunatly i dont get the time to enjoy it these days and it spends 99% of the time in my garage.
Its currently declared sorn although it will come with 12 months MOT.
I would like to sell as soon as possible so i am open to realistic offers with NO part exchanges.
Right with you there mate... For pure driving pleasure, my old MK4 beats my VXR hands down!
Wish i still had it but the bonnet now looks like a mountain range thanks to some yoof who'd been driving less than a month.

I have both MK4 Sri turbo and a VXR and I would say the other way VXR beats the MK4 hands down, steering too light on MK4 although it is an easier car to live with day to day
