        sounds like a turkey.l..

        Just normal things really.
        check the seats if they are leather see if they got dips in where you sit saggy leather

            just the obvious really like signs of abuse (tyres, brakes)

            only thing to go on a VXR is the Turkey like noise where the hose comes off the back of the engine or the turbo blow of valve has gone


            possibly ask if its affected or been for the recall of turbo bolts

              yes another good point the Bolts.

                    lol no its not. whys that then? do all vxrs need the bolt recall or are some exempt? it has full vauxhall sh so it should be with it if it has.

                      m8 im sure the VXR your looking at will be fine, as for the Turky noice its not a big deal... It can be fixed.

                          I would recommend opening the bonnet just to look out for and check that theirs an engine under there you never know

                            Most are exempt from the bolt recall tbh. If you search around on this forum, there is a pic of an announcement from Vaux listing the range of chassis numbers effected.

                            One thing to look out for is a stench of burning oil when the car warms up. Mine used to do it after about 5 mins/2 miles from a cold start and also after a short blast. This is caused by the turbo oil seals leaking and the oil burning off on the outside of the turbo. My turbo was replaced earlier this week to solve this prob.
