  • 2-3 more weeks wait til it arrives, but where is it built?

    Well as the title..

Ordered 3rd Jan on the Factory and its still not here.. Yesterday I heard it was at the port of Zeeburger which is in Belgium and is still 2-3 weeks away..

Where are the VXR's built? I thought the Astra's were built in Luton?

I am getting damn twitchy now!!

My insurance on the Corsa (current car) runs out of 14th, and I am insuring the VXR with a different company. I don't really want to have to insure the Corsa again...

I had hoped to pick the Astra up on the 3rd, but thats not going to happen now.. So I hope it will be ready for the 10th!!

          Electric Mirrors
          19" alloys
          AFL lights
          Reverse parking sensors

I think thats all I got.. Just think.. She's sat on a dock.. in the cold on her own.. maybe with other VXR's too I guess. She's just waiting to see her new home!!

Re: 2-3 more weeks wait til it arrives, but where is it buil

cool, i ordered mine on the 28th of december and it arrived in the uk today, has to be ideally transported to the dealer whin 4 days to keep k.p.i targets or something, then its just down to how long the dealer takes to register it and pdi it, i expect to be able to drive mine away in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks as its in the country today. as said before is built in belguim, no cars are built in luton anymore, just vans in IBC.

they are suposedly worth the wait though painz

            me and you hoping

I know the sales guy well so he said he will do everything in his power to get it turned around quickly for me. He will also be getting it transported from the port UK end on a Priority basis!

                Fingers are firmly crossed!
