  • Windows tints / Security film

I had an unfortunate incident with my last car when some scum decided to smash the window in and grab what they could from the glove compartment now since owning the vxr (and still having to park in the same area my last car got done) im more paranoid than ever about this happening again so I have been considering getting protective security film put on the windows?
Now i like the lightly tinted look but can anyone tell me is this security film just a fancy name for window tints albeit clear or are the companies i have phoned correct in saying that the security film is much tougher than normal tints anyone in the know? cost difference is about £100?
Ideally first and foremost i want security, however it would be nice to also have the lightly tinted look?

    Cheers.

There is a differnce between tint film and security film.I have seen CCTV of some fool trying to break through a window with a hammer and he couldn't do it.It won't stop the window breaking but they won't get in without being well prepared and having plenty of time to do it
If you are keen to keep people out then get it,it does work

Pentagon are the specialists for both.
