  • Picked her Up Yesterday

Picked up my blue VXR yesterday and can't stop smiling
Had a 40 mile drive home and what a drive it was!!

I now have 1 small problem, what is the best way to bend the front number plate. Great shaped front bumper but what a nightmare to fit!
    Anyone help?
    Thanks
    Mark

Use double sided sticky pads on the ends to shape it to the bumper

Mel's right small amount of heat needed

Our Tech's use a heat gun on all Astra Sport Hatch & VXR 's to mould them around the curve

i did this with mine but this happens. the backing pulls away and lets the dirt in. UGLY

i'll be getting a new plate made up for Rocingham but i'm going to try and warm it and bend it before i fit it.

Hi Mark, brt you're loving your new VXR

Just bought new plates but haven't fitted them yet (ones without big ugly screws through them). Just hoping the sticky pads are enough to hold the front one with the curve in it. Using the "raised pads" from Halfrauds, fitted these on all my previous Vaux's but never had to bend them :?
