hi every one i notice some ppl saying they turn the esp off. but whats the reason for doing this anyone

    thanks Ben

Quite simply to enable the front wheels to spin up

    Smoke em!

With it swithed on (Default) the electronics cuts the power!

Think it might also help out with stability.

    Personally i dont like it!

Depends what your throttle control is like, personally i would switch it off, i dont like electronic gizmo's cutting my power!

dose the esp interfere with out lighting up on the dash. because Ive never had it light up yet.

lighting up the front/making the wheels spin

sorry, i didnt really explain that

also, when the esp is off, the TC light comes on and stays on, until you press the sport button again

sorry i know what you said 1st time iam just asking dose the esp light up on the dash when its working all the time or dose it only light up when its hard at work. i mean dose it hold some power back when its on but the wheels are not spining

as far as i know, with the esp on, power is restricted to the wheels under harsh acceleration, to prevent spinning and loss of control

with the esp off, this is lost, and full power will be delivered to the front wheels at all times

i find its hard to spin the tyres with esp off.
give it full beans and a yank on the steering will spin them though!
turning esp off is the first thing a do when i drive it.

Only switch off once you are VERY happy driving the car hard. With ESP off, its a new beast. Any the life of your tyres will drop, trust me!

ESP does interfere dormantly both with esp on and off, and yes the light does not always show in either case.

I would like it off all the time too but you have to be in sport mode and I dont see why I should have to sacrifice more petrol all the time.
