  • OMG tyre pressures

Just covered 1k miles so thought i'd check my tyre pressures. The front were 27psi on one and 48 psi on the other. Cant believe u can pick up a new car with so indifferent tyre pressures on the front tyres.

mine varies greatly week on week... think it depends on the heat of the day and tyre temp

Dont forget to check your tyre pressure when the tyres are cold.
Checking them when hot can put upto 5psi on each one !

If you can find a place, get your tyres filled with Nitrogen...

Less susceptible to fluctuations because it does not contain water vapour that is found in normal compressed air which expands and contracts with heat.

Demon tweeks used to do it

Not seen many places that do.

I belive that touring cars also run on it.

I think you'll find most professional race outfits use it

One of the first things I do when I collect a new car is to check the tyre pressures.

It`s a bit boring, I know, but dealers aren`t exactly renowned for their attention to detail in this particular area.............
