  • CD 30 Adequate ???

My list of options is growing at an alarming rate reading the threads on this forum etc :
However i would like to ask if the standard CD 30 unit is good.
Please consider with your response that i wish to use MP3 disks etc.
    Cheers & Thanx all

I found the cdc30 ok for a 20W std car system, just lacking a bit in Bass so went for the 45w CDC40 system.
Think it will depend on what you are used to really?

The CDC40 doesn't support MP3s. The Sat Nav CD70 does though.

I have the CD70 in my vectra, was a free option though on the Elite, it's excellent in my opinion since I have a fairly large mp3 collection it was the only choice, however I would have probably put in my own rather than spend an extra £750.

Yes this all seems to be a big problem !!!
I want quality with a decent output, it is a pity my own system could not be fitted.
In respect of the CD 70 is the amp higher than the 4X20 in the CD 30 or is the only diff the sat nav ???
Can an amp be fitted to the CD 30 ???
