  • Cd30 battery drain

Can you help my radio is draining my battery is there a fix with out changing the radio and display

Take fuses 35 & 36 out. You just won’t have a screen or radio.

that’s you’re only fix. I’m speaking from experience as it took me over a year to locate the issue and then fix it by replacing both for a cd70 and cid.

0.30amps is still too high. I got around 10mA once fixed.
I don’t think it was grundig, think it was blaupunt but can’t remember.
take fuse 36 out and you’ll see your drain drop even more.

Your only option is to replace the screen and head unit.

I used my issue as an excuse to upgrade to the cd70.
