  • Rusty wing

Hi guys,I have a one owner from new astra h VXR in star silver.
2 small bubbles on passenger wing, nothing major.
I removed the arch liner to find hidden underneath the foam padding a load of moist mud.
Cleaned all out and rust at back of wing at the bottom not too bad.
Do I get it repaired or bite the bullet and buy genuine wing £170 because I do not want a crap after market one.
Remove your arch liners boys and girls and clean out asap.
    Thanks Steve

Yes, 100% agree with you. Both front and rear arches out and give it a good clean & treatment as necessary.
fastcar the foam mentioned is on both driver & passenger sides at the rear of the wheel arch, behind the plastic liner.

I'd recommend once removed & cleaned, treat with something like Bilt Hamber Dynax (UC or UB), let it sit for 24 hours before refitting.
