Broadstreet are offering great VXRs deals. Through being VXR specialist at our garage I tend to offer big discounts just to stay in the game. Everyone seems to be cutting the prices of VXR's

broadspeed where offering vxr's below the cost price; problem was, as you found, it now has increased in price.

One of the other guys on another forum has been told that the VXR inc VAT was £15,300 cost to a dealer
What are the cost structure for Dealers at the moment. ie 10% upfront margin and a 10% meeting target bonus? How much does a basic VXR really cost a dealer?

The VXR astra was £18,995 and was subject to a small price increase just recently. Quarterly bonuses for dealers means that a customer can always get a deal if dealing with a salesperson who really wants to sell a VXR; not just seeing it as another unit for the dealership. Also, aftersales care is a key; Any problems with a VXR should be 'cared for' by the VXR person at the dealership who has a genuine interest in his or her VXR customers.

Also, a garage who need to meet targets tend to buy 'packs' of cars to hit target at that time. So, if the dealership is, say, 20 units short they will buy a pack and pre-reg the pack if unsold. This is great for a customer who wants a car which is part of that particular pack but they tend not to be VXR's. usually astra 1.6 clubs or corsa designs etc. so, find a salesperson who is keen to sell a VXR not just to help the dealership hit a quarterly target.
