Are the astra VXR seats spose to roll forward when you lift the lever on the side (to let some one in the back) If so are both spose to do it?

Reason for my random question is everytime some body gets into the back of my car i have to pull the ajustable lever at the front to pull it forward

I spoke to my local vauxhall today (and they were very unhelpfull may i add) and they assure me that its not spose to roll forward on either sides and they wont even look at it for me!

Nah, its so the driver of the VXR doesnt have to move!

The passenger side should have the memory seat, so that when you move the back forward, it slides the seat forward, then when pushing it back it clicks into the SAME place.
