think its to do with fan but as theres a few im not sure which of the codes to tell them and what the issue will be????

P1481 fan control circuit open 1 engine cooling B-004
1 fan P1481 control circuit voltage engine cooling too large B-004
1 fan P1481 control circuit voltage too small engine cooling B-004
P1482 fan control circuit open 2 engine cooling B-004
P1482 fan control circuit voltage 2 too big engine cooling B-004
P1482 fan control circuit voltage 2 too small engine cooling B-004

might be worth just reseting the codes and going for a short drive

disconnecting the battery will reset the codes.
sometimes codes can just pop up because of a faulty reading and if they knocked a sensor could of caused this. might not be anything wrong, tell them to disconnect the battery for 15mins, that reset them, turn car on see if anything pops up, if not id let it warm up till the fan kicks in. if it dont then you know there something wrong with the control unit, sensor or something. or it could stay on permently.

edit thats if the code is correct confuses me reading them

if codes still pop up you will need tech2 to tell you which control unit, sensor thats faulty unless someone on here can tell you which one it is

told them disconeect the battery for 15 mins and then restart car see if it clears it.

                    hope this works.

said if its still there u aint connected fan corrwectly.

they did say thats same as they get told for the bmw's they have in.

fingers crossed then ill get it back tomos!!

Voltage to large could of been from the fan that got broke and obviously was trying to work but where it was smashed the resistance was to high. If the code was bought up with the damaged fan it won't clear unless it been reset. So hopefully the reset will cure it

reset didnt clear - theys ent it to a diff garage who said it was the resistors on the aircon (fault code says fan not aircon but what the hey) but apparently as part of wiring look has to be oredered in for friday and i also need 4 wheel alignment.... **** had it done not long ago at mpg.... so poss fri its looking.
