im running a stage 3 map took the car out 4 a spin tonight and the car was spluttering in 2nd and 3rd when i was giving it the beans,but it wasnt losing ne power has ne 1 had this b4,i checked the error codes and 124358 was coming up

P1243 turbocharger bypass solenoid valve voltage too large C-033
P1243 turbocharger bypass solenoid valve voltage too small C-033
P1243 turbocharger bypass solenoid valve open circuit C-033
P1243 turbocharger bypass valve not in the target area C-033

sounds like a boost solenoid problem, or could maybe sparks on way out

sure boost solenoid is aprox £15 plus vat.

Check for loose pipes on the inlet down the back of the engine.

Had this problem too.

As said check for leaks, and try someone elses maf sensor if you can, just to rule that out.

i have a maf sensor in the attic ill try that cheers

Check plugs, air flow meter on the left hand side between IC and inlet.

I had that but changed a few bits and it was fixed.

changed over maf sensor all seems ok .but when it was in standard mode it was ok ,it was just in sport mode it was spluttering cant make sense of it

be the plugs, seem to play up in sport mode if there not right. ask mr muz he knows his stuff

need changing, or need regapping if there new
