  • turbo ristrictor? confused

    hi all i bought a turbo from courtney this morning to fit to saf gsi and i brought this matter up with the tech guy there he said

    we sell about 20 vxr turbo amonth and when we fit them we do NOT fit any thing to the oil feed pipes at all as long as yo prime it porperly it will last


    To me if thats from the horses mouth (CSport) then i would say it is pointless

      Going off the say so of someone who might not know the oil pressures involved and required isn't wise, iirc the pressure is almost double what's required - go figure why the seals keep popping

                      Absolutely right! Anything that Percy says protects the turbo is something worth going for, ..better spending around £20 now than a helluva lot more on a new tubby later on! x
