wastegate rattle

right i have just had a garret conversion on my astra new exhaust stage 4 mapping etc but i seem to be having a rattle coming from my wastegate so i checked the wastegate and the wastegate flap was loose i could move it about but im pretty sure that this is supposed to be setup closed and not loose so i took the slack off of it at the same time not putting extra any pressure on it now it is overboosting an extra 5 psi does the map need adjusting to suit this???

thorney done the work its making 320bhp and 360t its back there now they sorting it

its still up there, its a gt28rs i think mine was the first car they done.

whats full spec of it? you using a tubular manifold an had engine rebuild?

im using tubular mannifold and full 3" exhaust intercooler all new pipe work 1.9 air box no work done on the engine, the std parts should be good for 330 bhp so think ill be ok with 320 bhp if it blows up ill buy an other engine lol.

sounds good to me, yeah engine should be fine, as it sounds like your running low boost so internals should be ok...

wanted it running lower boost same as percys think he was only running 15psi

My mate had the same problem ant it was a faulty relay in the boost valve
