Wastegate/Actuator Problem?

I'm getting what sounds like a boost dumping sound when first coming onto boost, it sounds like a release of air into the exhaust. It doesn't feel like I'm losing boost and the car still accelerates rapidly but there is this distinctive sound just as the turbo comes into play.

Does anyone know what this is and is it normal?

Milly loud turbo back and stage 2 if that matters.

have you checked boost hoses? happened to me, didnt feel any slower but could hear like air rushing, one boost pipes clips was lose
