Astra VXR Residual Value changes for the better
We have been informed today the CAP have increased their Residual Value of Astra VXR by 6.25%
Following a Test Drive session of the Full Production Spec Astra VXR.
Good news for all new and current owners but bad for those looking for second hand bargains.

Yes, that's great news! Thanks Dougie.
I don't see why the VXR should depreciate quickly anyway, it IS the best hot hatch around after all!

Ive posted on this before as I was gobsmaked at the RV they gave it - worth less than an Astra SRI in 3 years. My guess was they had a YTS trainee.
Personally I think it will match an LCR and getting an normal milage one for under 10k at 3 yrs will be hard. Those that point to the Astra GSI need to look at the fact its only since the VXR came on the scene and the whole model was replaced that its values dived. Plus it didnt cost as much to start with, didnt have good reviews, wasnt promoted hard by Vauxhall and to cap it off was top of its class.
