  • Keeping car clean

    Hi everyone
Just a quckie what is the best way to keep the car looking shiny, what car wax would you recommend and how often should you wax it, this is the first car I have had where I really want to keep it looking like I have just picked it up from a showroom.
    any help would be appreciated
mines is Flame Red by the way
    Cheers
    John

great colour choice; I have just parted with a flame red VXR with 19" wheels. Flame Red tends to be a colour which needs caring for. There are various polymer-based products or waxes which will help achieve this. The trade use durable 'performance' kits which still need applying twice monthly.

To keep my baby in tip top condition then I use almost everything Meguiars abd AutoGlym have to offer (my cleaning box must be worth over £300 )
Keeping the car "mark free" in between washes I have a can of Autoglym "Instant Show Shine" or Meguiars "Quick Detailer" in the glovebox with a couple of microfibre cloths - always handy if a bird craps on the car cos you dont want that sitting on your paintwork too long!!!
I also carry onboard one of those huge dusters that Meguairs do - http://www.meguiars.co.uk/cgi-bin/sp...?pc=X1180&tp=0 - that simply picks off all the surface dust in a couple of strokes
