  • Falken FK452's??

    Hi guys,

I'd just like to ask for your opinions on the Falken tyres... I need 225/35/18 for my corsa, and these are like £70-£75 cheaper per tyre than the ones i was originally looking at getting!!

So, what are they like? Whats the wear like, the grip? Also, the conti's i have on the back are not needing to be changed yet, so there will be a different tread pattern (i.e. directional tread, and non directional tread??, does this matter?? I was thinking of swapping these round and putting the tyres that are currently on the back, on the front... But either way, i don't want to spending £100 per tyre for something that is crap or lasts for two minutes!!

    Cheers loves,
    Leyton

        Bit more road noise,
        But that's my opinion
        Otherwise good lasting tyre

Hmmm, i was considering replacing with the conti SC2's again to keep the same, i mean i've got 13000 miles out of the fronts and they're nearly down to the tread bar (about 0.5mm off), but was also looking at P Zero's as they're meant to be good. I've heard about these Falken ones off here, but didn't realise that they were £70-£80 cheaper per tyre!!

              Hi LAVXR

I always used Goodyear eagle F1 and had 3 sets in total, but when it came for a new set I just couldn't afford them and had to go budget had no choice, so I got nakangs from this site, http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ half the price, wroth a look and to be honest they are very good and I will buy them again even if I have the money for the goodyears.

              Hope this is of help

They are OK for the money, but lack feel in comparison to other common premium tyres (SC3, F1, Ultrac Sessantas etc.).

I wouldn't buy them again, put perhaps would stick them on the family wagon.

Doesn't sound like FK452s to me, unless your brother is buying in 1000 at a time. The last time I looked, direct from the distributor, 452s were £44+vat each.
