  • Remus on Racing Edition - Warranty?

Hi All. I've had the Corsa for 6 days so the modding starts now. I am looking to get the Remus soon and know from just about everywhere that it's covered under VX warranty. Nothing on VX site show this. Walkinshaws say so too but they have nothing official on their site either. My local dealers have no clue about the offer for Racings or the upgrade process let alone warranty issues. Does anyone have a link to anything official stating the warranty remains intact?

    Any help appreciated.

I wouldn't think so mate. After all it is only an Exhaust.

Remus is vauxhall approved, get your dealer, turner or Walkinshaw to fit so not to affect your warranty.

If you get your dealer/walkinshaw to fit it make sure you get the fitting free plus reduced rate for having a racing

Oh, and have a lil look at the user guide in my siggy if you havent already, might be some interesting/useful stuff in there

There are two exhausts, one for z16 and a16 engine.

Sounds about right for knowledgeable dealerships

It use to state it in the back of all VXR brochures when Triple Eight were responsible for VXR upgrades (brakes, exhaust and suspension) iirc, but as pointed out WP are now responsible for all REMUS, AP upgrades for the VXR range in the UK, appointed by VX themselves.

Contact WP for further details or get your lazy dealer to do this for you !

                    Warranty is 3yrs btw

may well do but we get good exhausts and engines that drink more petrol!

Mmm. I can't say fuel economy and low tax were priorities when buying!
