dont know some can run for months and be fine then bring engine light up etc i wanted one aswell use search button type in dumpvalves you will change your mind my pipercross fiter is louder than a mates golf turbos dumpvalve and since i fitted it it doesnt feel as laggy as it was with standard filter on

                      Hey pal,
Basically general rule with these are some work on cars and some don't. the ones that don't the engine doesn't run right and I have heard it can send the engine into 'limp mode' which isnt very good lol. For the ones that work.....people usually get ****** off after about 2 weeks and then take them off! So it's up to you really matey

i had one on for ages. I didnt feel any performance difference however when i removed it the control i had over the throttle was huge. with a dumpvalve on you will struggle to ease off the throttle with any kind of smoothness! any lift on the throttle and its like an off switch!

                        no control whatsoever

imo i would save a few quid and get a filter

Got to be a panel. Ur just going to get heat soak with a cone. And eventualy its likely to be bye bye turbo.
