Absolutely Gutted! Rear bumper damaged :/

Hi everyone! I have recently bought a Corsa VXR (bought on the 9th June), and I've loved it! Best thing to drive ever. However I went to a friends last night and had to park on the road (which I hate doing...) and when returning home I look at my car out of habit, probably cause I love it so much, but noticed damage to my rear bumper and defuser, with a massive crack along the top over the bumper.

I was absolutely gutted. I asked my friend to ask his neighbours if they saw anything today but no luck. I went into Pentagon Vauxhall today and was told it wasn't able to be fixed but a new rear bumper painted and fitted is around £1,100!

Anyone know where I can get a cheaper one? :/

Try a non vx bodyshop, they should be able to repair it. But without seeing it.. who knows..

mate this happend to me recently, my dad borrowed my vixer for the weekend and parked it in a muli storey overnight and some wondeful human being decided to crash into it (leaving a massive crack all along the bumber) and drive off without leavig any details or anythin and nothing on the cameras anyway long storey short i know a guy in buxton thats done loadsa work on our familys cars after a few of these incidents recently and he is plastic welding the bumber or something and repainting the rear for £250 and the quality of his work is superb, mines actually in the garage right now get it back tomorrow. luckily mine was just a crack and although the crack was very big the bumber wasnt dented. is your bumper dented? anyway dont worry about it mate its not as bad as you think because they can do alot nowadays in terms of fixing things i thought i would have to buy a new bumper at first.

Obviously each of the repair centre's is different, but the one in hamilton did a good job on my car before for a big scratch on the passenger door... whole bumper repiar and paint is £160 i think!

Thanks guys. Someone went into the back of me driving home earlier! Sort of lucky but its even worse now... you think I'd be able to get a carbon fibre diffuser out of their insurance? As mean as that sounds but they did hurt my baby!
