  • Help choosing exhaust.

    I have a dilemma.

Got an opportunity to buy a Piper turbo back non res exhaust or a remus 2 piece (backbox and main cat) Both at the same price. Very cheap!

obviously i can't have both. But what would be best suited.

Current mods are courtney panel filter and blizzard intercooler, already double decatted. Going for a map after new year, And also what type of map would be best once i have either exhaust with current mods?

    Thanks.

3 piece is a must (in my opinion it's not really loud) so i imagine the 2 piece to be quiter. cannot talk about the piper on a vixxer but i have a system on my wife's 1.4 and still love it

I have a full cobra non res system with decat. Its not very popular and i dont no why, i love it the burble and pops on overrun are great. Managed to bag the full system for only £120 and it was basicly brand new. Best bargin ive ever had

                I've had both.

Piper for gains. Remus for sound. But it needs to be a 3 piece.

I doubt youll see gains with an exhaust on standard map until its mapped in properly. Tbh I felt my car pulled better when I had the standard zaust compared to my remus with decat, it's not mapped in yet though.

in my opinion my car felt more torquey lower in the rev range before i installed the remus 3 piece. however i also think that it pulls better now after 5000 revs

                            Hey pal,

I csnt comment on both as i haven't had Remus. But I have a 3inch decat piper straight through with no silencers and no back box now.

And when that is under load
The pops are as loud as an RS

Absoloutely love it, only just got it,
Doesn't droan and doesn't need to be loud Untill you want it too..
Sounds like fireworks are going off love it
