  • VERY UNHAPPY, advice needed please.

Ordered my vxr corsa brand new 3 weeks ago and was told to expect it at the end of November/early December. Then I was told 2 weeks ago that it had slipped to 22 December and then today told it was now 27 December wtf.
To say I am ****** off is an understatement so what should I do? Should I go back in and try to get a better deal with them or should I demand my deposit back and take my buisness somewhere else. In all the time I am waiting my current car is falling in value so in effect will cost me more to buy my new one. At the time they said it would take longer because I wanted the s+l pack, climate control and 18 inch wheels but this long?
    Your serious opinions please.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait, I'm waiting patiently on mines also. Hassle the dealer for the fixed p/ex price

Mine took 14 weeks and it was worth it but I was guaranteed my trade in value but I sold it privately before the Corsa arrived.

It is true that if you want to have "options" fitted to the car that delivery will take longer.

I was quoted 8 weeks and this went back to 12 weeks, however, the dealer honoured the trade-in value on my old car.

You could pull out of the deal but, if as has been reported. the car manufacturers are cutting back production you might wait even longer.

It's well worth the wait for a VXR
