  • QWhat do you guys think of this deal?

    Or what did you get?

Been offered £10k chop-in for my 07 Corsa (20k on the clcok) plus £5700 for an Arctic with S&L.

I was thinking it would costs about £4k to swap or is that unreasonable?

    Cheers

sounds like a good deal, see if you can get a bit more off the arctic or a bit more for yours

Or I could pay £7k and get one with AFL, SatNav, Rear-Parking Sensors (KUDOS!!), but I don't really want that.

I think the most I'm willing to do is offer my car plus £4k - Do you think that's unreasonable?

according to vaux (glass) value this what your car is worth:

          Vauxhall Corsa VXR
          1.6 Petrol 3-door Hatchback
6 Speed Manual Front Wheel Drive
          Year: 2007 07
          Mileage: 20,000

          Part-exchange Price:
          Excellent condition:
          £11600
          Average condition:
          £10600
          Below average condition:
          £9320

but with th way the market is i reckon £10k is a good amount like i said in my other post, try and push for a bit more on yours or a bit less on the arctic

remember if vaux are offering £10k for yours and the market is selling them @ £11k, £1k is going to be the profit which i doubt they will budge on so bring the price down on the arctic and get a deal done if you really badly want the white car.

                    do NOT do it mate,
so you pay £5700 you get a arctic(a white corsa vxr with sun roof)you drive it off there car park,it will be worth £12,700.
keep the one you have, you will lose no more money.your car will still be worth £10,000 next year.it still a corsa vxr.

the arctics will hold more value than the normal corsa, granted they are but a corsa vxr, look at teh burgs they hold their value a bit better than the standard astra vxr, and there were 835 made not 500

completely agree as we don’t have here Arctic - I was thinking about Burg or BMW 130i, but have me Corsa just one year and don’t want to loosing money every year just for reason to have another car... I am still happy with me OPC…

It was more a case, of if it just costs a few grand then I'll do it, but £5700 is too much of a hit. I'll be chopping it in, in 6 months anyway but I like the Arctics and they're abviously not going to be available for much longer.

Might have to go VXR-R in June instead
