    anyone know if the vxr has a timing chain or belt i currently have a astra sri 1.8 and spend a fortune changing the belt as i am a high mileage driver hoping for a chain less expense on vxr heres hoping save for a milltek exhaust then when out

    am sure milltek will make one for it, but i think its remus that are making the vx approved exhaust for the corsa

            it doesn't sound as though it is a chain but thought i'd ask when is it recommended for a change, anyone know of the top of there heads

              Belt, change due at10 years or 100,000km/ 60,000 miles- but don't leave it that long!

                I'll do my own, the moment the car steps outside of warranty.

                There is no way I'm pay Vauxhall's extortionate prices on a cam belt

                    Belt. But i think is not more then 6 years and 60 000km. If the belt goes off you can say godbuy to valves and pistons, so change before time.
