    Just i know a few doubters saying the engine wont take the stress of a turbo lol

      If the engine wont take the stress of a turbo then vauxhall wouldn't be selling the car, would cost them a fortune in warranty work!

      And how many complaints have these doubters heard about the Meriva VXR??

      I think they're just scared that a Corsa might just beat them!

          Indeed a 1.6t is not unheard of these days. Point the doubters in the direction of the Mini Cooper S and Peugeot 206GT for example.

            or just remember the classic Charade 1.0 turbo (3 cylinders)

            what a class car, and still running around today!

              The main changes vs the regular 1.6 Family engine are ;

              4 oil jets for individual piston cooling , additional electric pump for water cooling , natrium (offshoot of sodium) filled valves for cooling , domed pistons , upgraded bearings for crank and oil/water heat exchanger .

              corsa VXR also has revised ECU , new inlet/exhaust manifold and new exhaust system.
